This tutorial is written in and for PSP Version 7 and assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.
Any resemblence to another tutorial is purely coincidental.

For this tutorial you will need the following

• Paint Shop Pro, get it HERE
• Neology plugin, get it HERE
• My Tube (optional) get it HERE
• Cinema Font, get it HERE

Extract the font to wherever you place your fonts (nomally C drive > Windows > Fonts.

1 Open your tube in PSP, duplicate and close the original

2 Image > Canvas size > resize to 500 x 500 (we can reduce the size later)

3 Flood fill layer 1 with white then activate layer 2

4 Rename layer 2 to Base....duplicate this layer and name it Tube then hide it..

5 Make sure you are on the Base layer, and go to Effects > plugins > Neology > psychoderma
with these settings
Pizza Slices = 10
Inner attraction = 255......OK

Then add a drop shadow with these settings
Vertical & Horizontal = 4
Opacity = 70
Blur = 12
Colour = Black

6 Duplicate the base layer twice and rename them Base 2 & Base 3.

7.Unhide & Activate the tube layer and resize it to 80% (all layers unchecked),...then postion it to your liking.

You should have something like this

8. Add a new layer and name it text, make sure this layer is at the top of your layer palette.

9 Set your foreground to Null, background to Black
Add your name with these settings
Cinema font > size = 48 Bold, Floating, Antialias all checked.......select none.

10 Change your background colour to a colour from your image, I am using #806599 (purple)

11 Add your name again on the same layer, but place it slightly down and to the right of the black one.....keep selected.

12 Add an Inner Bevel with these settings

select none.

13 Add a drop shadow with the same settings as earlier in step 5.

14 Actvate the base layer. effects > noise > add > 45% Uniform.....OK

15 Activate Base 2 add noise at 55%.....OK

16 Activate Base 3 add noise at 65%.....OK

17 Actvate Layer 1 (white background) Hide layers Base 2 and Base 3....merge visible and save as psyc1 in psp format
UNDO Merge

18 Unhide Base 2 and hide Base 1....merge visible and save as psyc2 in psp format
UNDO Merge

19 Unhide Base 3 and hide Base 2....merge visible and save as psyc3 in psp format

20 Launch Animation Shop and use the Animation Wizard to bring your 3 images together.

21 crop off any excess white, making sure not to remove any of your image
Then resize to 75%.......Optimize and save as Gif file

Voila.....you're own Psycho Tag *S*
