Personalised Divider Bars

This is a handy tutorial to do...so that nobody can steal your work

The Divider bar above was made from my name MzKikz

Tools used

Text Tool

1. Open a new canvas 500 x 100

2. Grab the text tool ...set your background Styles palette to #FF4040...Foreground to Null

3.Choose a Fancy scrolling font......I am using Sloop Script Two size 48

You can get my font HERE

Or you can get a few different ones HERE

Type your name, in my case it was MzKikz....OK

Position your name on the right hand side of the canvas

Selections > Select None.

4. Go to your layer palette, RIGHT click on your layer and go to Duplicate

5. Image > Flip

6. Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

7. Effects > Reflection Effects > Rotating Mirror.

Make sure all settings are set to 0.....OK

You now have a very decorative divider.....but who would know that it is

YOUR NAME!!!

We are not finished yet

8. Go to Effects > Texture Effects > Sculpture

When the new window opens....use the drop down menu to select the GOLD preset > OK

Hey Presto....you have a beautiful personal divider for any page.

At this stage you should export it to your tube folder.

File > Export > Picture Tube.

When the window opens....give your divider a name and click OK

9. Now add a new layer to your divider, Send to bottom, Flood fill with a colour of your choice, I have used white, but you can add a background to match your page.
